ADMISSION


Admission into the BS in Development Communication (BSDC) program requires submitting a senior high school diploma from a recognized institution and passing the university admission examination with a minimum Intelligence Quotient (IT) Test Score of 90 or Average. Photocopy of necessary documents and forms required by the university registrar should be submitted to the Department for filing.

For transferees and shifters, the following admission policy will be applied:

Shifters from other course/ program

—-Should have a minimum of 85 or its equivalent (2.0) in their English and Filipino subjects from their previous course. The student shall be advised to get shifting form and should be signed by the admitting and releasing college.

—-If grade is below the minimum requirement, a written examination will be required. A rubric will be provided for the assessor to assess the written output of the applicant.

—-Shifters will be admitted on “Probation” status with the condition that they will pass all the subjects they will be taking during the semester.

Shifters from other schools

—-Should have a minimum grade of 85 or its equivalent (2.0) in their English and Filipino subjects from their previous institution/ school. The student shall be given endorsement letter to take Admission Examination to the Office of Student Services.
